Ontfront Spring 2010

Ontfront's recent spring 2010 collection titled " Tonight is the knight" presented at the just concluded Amsterdam International Fashion Week was full of theatrics and an amazing display of machismo. The models did not look like boy toys but soldiers and the metal-esque gloves they wore looked like armor for a battle.

Aside all the theatrics one with a discerning would have noticed the cuts and architectural volume of the collection. The bomber/suit jacket hybrid was a delight to see as i've always maintained that traditional mens pieces are more interesting when combined to form something new.

The Local Firm Spring 2010

The Local Firm was founded in Autumn 2007 by Richard Hutchinson and Axcel Nyhage. Since its inception the swedish brand has continued to deliver menswear with clean lines and clear shapes paying great attention to fabrication. The spring 2010 collection featured some interesting stuff like paint creased denim and some unique sandal/shoe hybrid that your sister or girlfriend would surely envy :o].
